House of Cybele
How we are telling their story
After working in the industry for 25 years, interior designer Jennifer Anderson Haysom wanted to create a first-of-its-kind exclusive networking group for the finest UK architects, designers, craftspeople, and artisans to join. The launch was a sell-out and we helped achieve this by:
- Sourcing a venue for the launch and subsequent venues for future events. We were then the main liaison with the various venues’ events teams
- Identifying two charity partners that aligned with House of Cybele’s vision and objectives – United in Design and Heritage Crafts
- Researching potential businesses to invite to events to ensure we were reaching the right audience
- Creating a social media content plan
- Writing website copy and designing a sitemap for houseofcybele.co.uk
- Drafting presentations for the events and briefing speakers
- Sourcing a videographer and photographer and creating briefs for them to follow
- Writing ticketing website copy and attendees emails
- Creating a biography of Jennifer to help secure future media interviews and speaker opportunities
- Producing a newsworthy press release using Heritage Crafts research which showed 62 specialist crafts at risk of dying out without support from the building and interior design industry. We secured media coverage in Interior Designer magazine, The Argus newspaper, Sussex Express newspaper, Brighton Journal, More Radio, The Guild of Master Craftsmen magazine
Mind Over Cancer
How we are telling their story
To support a new charity called Mind Over Cancer in East Anglia, which provides free mental health support to young cancer patients and their families and friends, a launch announcement was planned to help them raise an initial £50,000.
- We created a photoshoot featuring a former young cancer patient, their partner and charity CEO, displaying the emotions young cancer patients and their family and friends face. A regional press release aimed at East Anglia media was drafted with an example of media coverage achieved here. In addition, patient case studies, website copy, and social media content were created. This all helped the charity reach its fundraising target.
- When the charity appointed its first patron, artist Remi Rough, a press release and social media assets were created. This secured media coverage in local media in London and East Anglia. Read example here.
